Comedipedia for iOS · In development

Your next bit starts with a note.

A quiet place for the messy work of comedy. Capture the idea, develop the joke, rehearse the set, and come back with something to change.

The iPhone and iPad app is being developed and tested. There is no public download or App Store release yet. The writing guides and companion worksheets below are available now.

One connected workflow

From “that’s odd” to “try it again.”

01

Catch the thought

Save a specific observation before it disappears. Search your ideas, drafts, and tags when you return.

02

Try another turn

Keep versions as you rewrite. Return to an earlier ending without throwing away the one you just tried.

03

Find the order

Choose material from your notebook, arrange your set, and give it a realistic time limit.

04

Say it aloud

Rehearse with your material and a timer. Notice the words you stumble over and the places that need space.

05

Keep what happened

Record observations for the whole set and each bit. The session keeps the wording you used, even after you revise it.

06

Change one thing

Use your notes to choose one next experiment. A new setup, a shorter tag, or a pause you can actually test.

Your drafts stay yours.

The current app stores writing on your device. Core writing works offline, with no account, draft uploads, or AI training. Export your notebook as a backup or readable text; keep your own copy when changing devices.

Apple device backups and any destination you choose for exports follow their own settings. Opening a website link uses that site’s privacy settings.

Practice is evidence gathering.

A solo run can reveal timing and clarity. Audience response needs an audience. Keep those observations separate, save the version you tested, and change one thing at a time.
